Laurelhurst Deer  - Another Reason To Drive Carefully!

While my friend and real estate cohort were pre-viewing MLS listings in Laurelhurst, we came upon a deer running North on the Boulevard at the 38^th cross street. In my astonishment, I tried to whip out my I-phone and roll my window down to take a photo but incredibly aware this frightened creature, who was using every opportunity to hide in the brush and trees in the divider, could dash in front of my car.  We slowly drove down the entire Boulevard at which point I was actually successful in photographing her at the time she was ready to cross 45^th to Children’s Hospital. It is my understanding this is such an unusual year due to the change in weather that deers are showing up in the most unlikely places.  How many have you seen? Drive slow!
