Continued enjoyment of the off leach area of Magnuson Park absolutely depends on your continued involvement. This is a great Seattle beach area for dogs and supported by groups such as the Magnuson Professional Dog Walkers’ Association. In fact according to the city of Seattle, the Magnuson Park OLA (Off Leash Area) is recognized as one of the top ten in the nation. It is roughly nine acres and broken off into sections that include a “small and shy area”. I know a certain 200 pound Newfoundland would not fit in that little section, but he loves the shores of Lake Washington!
